New Zealand - "the land of Middle-earth", has their next movie (The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies) currently in post-production. Meanwhile, Air New Zealand teamed up with the crew of "The Lord of The Rings" and "The Hobbit" to produce the most epic safety video ever made!
Thankfully, Air New Zealand provided also a Behind the Scenes, that shows how some of the effects were achieved.
Air New Zealand is not the first airline with a different kind of video, do you remember the safety video of Virgin America?
What do you think about safety videos? Do you think it always need to be serious, or can it be funny too?
Malta Shipbuilding, Marsa, Malta - This year, Junior Eurovision Song Contest will happen in Malta, on November 15.
16 countries are going to perform in front of the whole Europe, and all the songs have been released, so here's all the contestants!
Vienna, Austria - Vienna's International Film Festival, Viennale, which will happen from 23 October to 6 November, has this year it's trailer made in Portugal, by the 105 year old filmmaker, Manoel de Oliveira, considered one of the big masters in the history of cinema. He is the oldest person actively working in the industry.
2013, Malmö, Sweden - For the first post related to the Eurovision, I would like to share the entry of Norway that happened last year. Margaret Berger sang "I feed you my love", a pop song with a futuristic beat that led her to the 4th place in Grand Final, which took place on Malmö Arena, Sweden, last year. The lyrics didn't suffered any change; only some of the camera angles, as usual.
The electric beat brought us a different performance that we don't usually see on this type of contest!
Even though it's not easy to take the eyes out of the performers when we see it live on TV, I noticed later when I watched again the second semi-final, that one of the steadicam operators was caught at the beginning of the song, right after they had changed cameras. Even though they practice a lot to get a perfect show, sadly, imperfections can happen.
Despite that, it was a great performance, plus the background and the cable-cam angles were truly incredible!
Here's some of the best videos that captured Margaret on her national selection and on the stage in Malmö!
